On what date does the event take place?

The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 4, 2023.

Where is the event being hosted?

The event will take place in Manhattan at the New York Athletic Club in Central Park South.

Who is invited to the event?

Anyone who is interested in public relations, communications, marketing, media, digital and social media should attend this event.

How do I register for the Tri-State District conference?

Register for the conference by visiting the PRSA Tri-State website and the events page. There, you can complete online registration. PRSA Tri-State accepts all major credit cards, for payment through Stripe.

What is included in the cost of my registration?

You will receive a name badge and program when you arrive on site. With your name badge, you have access to attend all of the keynote sessions, the breakout sessions and the Dazzle Closing Reception.

Are meals included with my registration?

PRSA Tri-State District will provide breakfast, lunch, snacks and several coffee breaks throughout the event. The Dazzle Closing Reception includes a cash bar.

Can I cancel my registration?

Yes. To cancel your registration, contact PRSA Tri-State directly via email at hello@prsatristate.org.  After April 30, no refunds will be given for event registrations or special event tickets.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand life happens. If you need to cancel, up to 10 business days prior to the Tri-State District conference, you will receive a refund minus the administration fee. Cancellations less than 10 business days prior to the event are entitled to a pass for a future conference for either yourself or a colleague from the same company, good for one year.

Can I purchase tickets when I get to the conference?

A limited number of tickets may be available, however, we cannot guarantee the availability of tickets on-site.

Can I see what sessions will be presented before I arrive on site?

Yes. The program for the PRSA Tri-State Conference is posted online and continues to add speakers as we build and finalize the agenda.

Does PRSA Tri-State have hotel rooms available for event attendees?

Yes. PRSA Tri-State has reserved room blocks at the New York Athletic Club for Wednesday, May 3 and Thursday, May 4 the day of the event. The rooms are available to attendees at a discounted rate and are the responsibility of the attendee. You can learn more about how to reserve a room on the hotels page of the District conference website. If you are not able to take advantage of the NYAC room block, check out local area hotels from this list. Hotels fill up during the Spring time quickly so please make sure to book your hotel in advance.

What is the suggested dress code for attending the Tri-State District conference?

The New York Athletic Club does have a dress code. The City House of the New York Athletic Club is an elegant, formal building in the grand tradition of New York City. When visiting the City House, members and guests will be expected to dress, at all times, in a refined and appropriate manner.

 

Attire with rips, frays or tears or that displays language, motifs or insignias that may be deemed offensive are not permitted. Attire and personal appearance shall be in good taste and mindful of the Club's traditional atmosphere. Excessively revealing clothing which might be offensive to other members or guests is not permitted.

What to do in the case of dietary and other special needs?

If you have any particular dietary needs or require special assistance, please contact PRSA Tri-State District Chair and they will get back to you within one business day and be happy to help with your request!

How should I promote the event on social media?

We encourage attendees to be social! Use social channels to let your network know what you’re learning and experiencing at the conference. We ask that you use the official conference hashtag, #PR3state23 and tag us on LinkedIn and Twitter. 

The 2023 PRSA Tri-State District Conference will take place at the New York Athletic Club, located near beautiful Central Park South in Manhattan. Sign in at the registration desk and head up to the 9th floor.
